ST2 Abangani has a particular focus on the producing or sourcing and distribution of fuel additives for the oil and gas industry. ST2 Abangani supplies fuel additives to both the refinery segment as well as to the post refinery industrial fuel users. ST2 Abangani has built long running relationships with well recognized reputable global chemical companies for whom ST2 Abangani distributes chemicals on exclusive distribution agreements. ST2 Abangani also operates a lab and production facility in Durban, South Africa where they develop customized chemicals as per the unique needs of clients. ST2 Abangani is 49% owned by ST2 Group and 51% owned by Abangani Projects (a 100% black woman-owned investment company)

ST2 Renewable Energy is a renewable energy business that develops and operates renewable energy power plants in Africa. ST2 Energy views solar PV as the most suitable energy source technology for the African environment with many African countries ranking amongst some of the best solar PV locations in the world. ST2 Energy looks to partner with private companies, that consume significant amounts of energy, with the view of helping these companies develop their own sources of energy which in effect helps our clients to minimize the extent to which they strain the national grid. Energy self-sufficiency also assists our clients in obtaining predictability with regards to their energy costs.

ST2 Renewable Energy also looks to participate in utility scale renewable energy plants through the South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme.
